Community Wind Band open to all wind and percussion musicians aiming to perform indoor and outdoor events throughout the year.

The Whitehall Concert Band has its roots in the now defunct Sage Silver Programme. After the pandemic the band became an independent group and moved to rehearse in the Whitehall Road Methodist Church Hall in Gateshead NE8 4LH. We rehearse Tuesdays 10.30 – 12.30. Term time.

Parking is available in the Church car park, making it a short walk with your instrument(s) and music stand for those with their own transport.

We now have about 30 members, but are keen to grow further – so if you play any wind instrument, at any level, please bring it along and hear us rehearse, join in or just have a chat. You will be made very welcome by our friendly and ambitious band.
